Succulent shrimp mixed with cream cheese and wrapped in a crispy wonton wrapper, Shrimp Rangoon is sure to be your new favorite appetizer.

Ingredients

cooked salad shrimp
, chopped

tablespoon
soy sauce

stalks green onions
, sliced thin

teaspoon
garlic powder

wonton wrappers
Instructions
Combine the softened cream cheese, shrimp, garlic powder, soy sauce, and half the green onions.
Mix to combine.
Place 1 teaspoon in the center of a wonton wrapper.
Wrap into an envelope in the follow steps:
1. Start diagonally
2. Fold bottom corner up to the top. Press to close, removing all the air.
3. Wipe the side points with water.
4. Fold the two side points in towards the center.
5. Rub water on the top point.
6. Fold down to look like an envelope.
Repeat with remaining wonton wrappers.
Heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil to 350 F.
Fry them in batches of 3-5 for 2-3 minutes, flipping as needed, until golden brown.
Remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain and cool slightly.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
