Combine the onion soup mix, water, lemon juice, oil, ketchup and soy sauce in an airtight bag or a large container for marinating. Marinate the pork chops for 1- 24 hours. Remove them from the refrigerator 20 minutes prior to grilling. Discard leftover marinade.
Heat the grill to medium-high heat (350°F) and spray with cooking spray or oil the grates.
Grill on each side for 10-12 minutes. This will largely depend on how your grill holds heat and the thickness of your chops. Use a meat thermometer and aim for 145°F.
Remove the pork chops from the grill and allow them to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
