Heat a large non stick skillet over medium heat. Melt the 1 teaspoon unsalted butter.
When the butter is melted, add the sliced 2 bananas , 2 tablespoons honey , 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon , dash ground nutmeg and dash coarse kosher salt . Toss to coat and warm thoroughly. When the honey starts to caramelize and the bananas are nicely brown, at about 10 minutes, and the mixture is warm, remove from the heat and serve.

Honey can be swapped for agave nectar, light brown sugar or dark brown sugar.
