What is milk?
A white, liquidy substance that is produced from the mammary glands of mammals, milk is a great source of nutrition. Milk that humans consume is most commonly produced from cows, however other animals like goats, buffalo, sheep camels and donkeys also produce milk consumed by humans.
Dairy milk has lactose in it, which is an allergen to a lot of people. There are non dairy alternatives that are more suitable for lactose intolerant people. These alternatives include:
