What is mascarpone?
If you’ve had the Italian classic dessert called tiramisu, you have definitely had mascarpone. It is a cream cheese like substance that it slightly coagulated. The coagulation comes from adding an acidic ingredient like vinegar, lemon juice or citric acid.
As stated before, it is very commonly used in tiramisu, but here are some other ways to use it:
