What to Grab at the Store!
The ingredients needed to make these homemade Halloween brownies can easily be found at your local grocery store.
- Box Brownie Mix – You will want to prepare the fudgy brownies according to the instructions on the box. Make sure you have all of the ingredients listed, usually vegetable oil, eggs, and water.
- Vanilla Extract – To make the boxed brownie mix taste more homemade, I like to add a little bit of vanilla. It adds warmth and flavor.
- Instant Espresso – These delicious brownies get taken up a notch with a little espresso powder. It makes for a richer, bolder flavor.
- Mini Chocolate Chips – If you’re a chocolate lover like me, you’ll want to fold some chocolate chips into the batter.

Most often, cookies and brownies can be stored at room temperature. However, if there’s a frosting on them that contains dairy, they should be refrigerated.
