If Reese’s peanut butter cup filling, chocolate chip cookie dough and the lovers of sweet and salty had a love child, Monster Cookie Dip would be the result. This easy dessert dip takes everything you love about a classic monster cookie and turns it into a fun, no-bake dip that’s as perfect for parties as it is for simply satisfying your sweet tooth on the fly!
What’s in the Mix
A little bit of this, a little bit of that, and suddenly, you’ve got an epic dessert dip! A full list of ingredients with measurements is available in the printable recipe card below.
- Cream Cheese – Cream cheese is the base of the dip that makes it ultra-creamy and rich. Be sure it’s softened so it’s easy to blend.
- Unsalted Butter – Butter adds even more creaminess and a bit of buttery goodness.
- Creamy Peanut Butter – This is the classic monster cookie flavor! Use smooth peanut butter for the best texture.
- Light Brown Sugar – Brown sugar adds caramel-like sweetness.
- Powdered Sugar – Use this fine sugar so that the dip is silky smooth.
- Fine Sea Salt – Just a pinch of salt brings out all of the flavors in the dip.
- Vanilla Extract – Vanilla adds a warm flavor. Buy it at the store or keep a homemade vanilla extract on hand.
- Rolled Oats – These bring in a little chewy texture. Either old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats work great.
- Mini Chocolate Chips – Because chocolate makes everything better! Use mini chips to make sure you have chocolate in every bite.
- Mini M&Ms – These add the signature pop of color and crunch that screams “monster cookie.”
- Pretzels – Break these up and fold them in to give the dip a salty crunchiness that balances the sweetness.
The Play-by-Play
This monster cookie dip comes together in minutes — no baking required! Just mix, fold, and chill.
- Whip the base. Use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese until it is lump-free. Then, place the butter and peanut butter in the bowl with the whipped cream cheese and beat again.
- Sweeten it up. Add in the sugars, sea salt, and vanilla extract. Keep mixing for a couple of minutes until everything is fully incorporated.
- Fold in the mix-ins. Use a rubber spatula to gently stir in the rolled oats, mini chocolate chips, mini M&Ms, and broken pretzels until they are all evenly distributed.
- Chill and serve. Refrigerate until ready to serve, then pair with dippers like cookies, graham crackers, apple slices, or more pretzels!
5S Philosophy 👩🏻🍳
- Salt – A little fine sea salt makes all the sweet flavors pop.
- Swaps – Try almond butter instead of peanut butter, swap out the pretzels for crushed graham crackers, or mix in white chocolate chips for a fun twist!
- Senses – If you’re a fan of having tons of texture in your sweets, this dip is for you — it’s creamy, crunchy, smooth, and chewy all at once. And the smell? Like peanut butter cookies fresh from the oven, but without the baking!
